Clinical Hypnotherapy in Port Orange, Florida

What is Hypnosis?

Hypnosis is a natural state we all experience—like when you’re driving and suddenly realize you don’t remember part of the trip, often called “highway hypnosis.” In this state of deep relaxation and focused awareness, your subconscious mind becomes more open to positive change.

In a session, you stay fully aware and in control, never doing or saying anything you don’t want to. Hypnosis simply helps quiet the busy mind, guiding you into a calm alpha or theta brainwave state where healing, clarity, and transformation can take place safely and naturally.

All hypnosis is self-hypnosis because you are always in control of your own mind and choose whether to accept suggestions. The hypnotherapist simply guides you into a relaxed, focused state where your subconscious can access its natural ability to create change.

What to Expect in a Typical 2-Hour Hypnosis Session

If this is your first hypnotherapy session, you’re in good hands. My top priority is to help you feel comfortable so you can experience a peaceful and productive session at your own pace.

Depending on your goals, we may begin with techniques such as NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming), Breathwork, or Sound Therapy to promote deep relaxation and prepare your mind and body. The hypnosis phase includes a  personalized hypnosis experience, that is recorded with music so you can continue reinforcing the suggestions at home. Sessions usually last about two hours, leaving you rested, refreshed, and with greater clarity about your next steps.

Hypnosis Techniques May Include:

  • Solutions-Focused Direct Suggestion Hypnosis
  • Regression Therapy & Inner Child Work
  • Parts Therapy
  • Subconscious Reprogramming

Time Breakdown of a 2-Hour Session

Here’s how a typical two-hour session is structured, giving you a clear sense of what to expect at each step of the process:

30–45 minutes: Intake & Goal Setting
  • We explore your concerns, history, emotions, beliefs, and desired outcomes.
  • This creates a clear roadmap and builds trust and comfort before hypnosis.
10–15 minutes: Relaxation & Deepening Preparation
  • Techniques such as Breathwork, Sound Therapy (InHarmony Lounge or BrainTap), or NLP exercises help calm the nervous system and prepare the subconscious.
25–30 minutes: Core Hypnosis Process
  • This is the focused trancework where I guide you into hypnosis.
  • Includes positive suggestions, affirmations, and visualizations aligned with your goals.
  • May also integrate advanced techniques such as Regression Therapy, Parts Therapy, Emotional Clearing, or Subconscious Reprogramming.
20–30 minutes: Deep Transformational Work

Depending on the client’s needs, this portion may involve:

  • Regression or Inner Child Work (exploring root causes)
  • Forgiveness Therapy, Ego Strengthening, or Emotional Clearing
  • Higher Self Hypnosis
  • Mindfulness/Meditation Integration

This is where deeper patterns are uncovered and shifted.

10–15 minutes: Awakening & Debrief

Toward the end, awakening suggestions gently bring you back to full awareness. You remain fully conscious and in control throughout—you cannot be made to do or say anything against your will. Hypnosis simply opens the subconscious mind to positive suggestions and deep inner healing, helping you release limiting beliefs and create lasting change.

  • Gentle awakening suggestions return you to full awareness.
  • We discuss your experience, insights, and practical steps for reinforcing the changes.
  • If applicable, I provide a recording of your session so you can continue reinforcing suggestions at home.

Substance Use Policy
For safety and effectiveness, clients must be free from fentanyl, heroin, methamphetamines, cocaine, or active alcohol abuse for at least 30 consecutive days before beginning sessions. This ensures the best possible outcomes for your healing journey.
