My path to this work wasn’t a straight line. Before founding Mikki Hypnotherapy in 2020 (Keybi LLC), I spent more than three decades in technology, analytics, and professional leadership roles. I understand what it’s like to be successful and capable on the outside while still carrying things internally that you know you’re ready to change.
My own experiences with personal growth, grief, loss, and life transitions changed the way I looked at the mind, our beliefs, and the stories we carry. That journey ultimately led me to hypnotherapy and continues to shape the way I work with clients today.
I bring together professional training, mind-body techniques, coaching, and real-life experience to create an approach that is grounded, compassionate, and personal. I’m not here to judge your story or tell you how you should feel. I’m here to help you look at things differently, let go of what no longer serves you, and choose what you want to carry forward.
My education and training span hypnotherapy, coaching, leadership, technology, and personal development, giving me a unique combination of intuitive, interpersonal, and analytical skills that I bring to my work with clients.
Outside of my work, I’m a mom to two amazing young women and a grandma (and yes, they rock!). I love being outdoors, staying active, and challenging myself. You’ll often find me lifting weights, walking, biking, or working in my yard.
My boyfriend likes to joke that I love getting dirty. Yep – he’s probably right. Give me a yard project and I’m happy. I love landscape design, planting butterfly and bee gardens, and turning an ordinary outdoor space into something beautiful. There’s something about digging in the dirt, creating something with my hands, and watching it grow that just makes me happy.
I’ve also experienced grief, loss, difficult transitions, and times when life didn’t unfold the way I expected. Those experiences have shaped how I see life today, not simply as things that happen to us, but as experiences that can change us, teach us, and sometimes take us somewhere we never expected to go.
That perspective is an important part of why I do this work. I understand what it means to carry something, work through it, see it differently, and eventually decide what you’re ready to let go of.
