Mikki Hypnotherapy Client Terms & Conditions

1. Agreement to Terms
By booking or participating in services provided by Mikki Hypnotherapy, you (“Client”) agree to these Terms & Conditions. Scheduling or payment confirms acceptance of this agreement.
2. Services Provided
Mikki Hypnotherapy provides virtual and in-person hypnotherapy and subconscious transformation services designed to support emotional wellbeing, stress reduction, personal growth, and behavioral change. Services may include:
- Individual virtual sessions
- Multi-session transformation packages
- Secure HIPAA-compliant Google Meet sessions
- Guided recordings, assessments, and client portal resources
Package purchases require scheduling the initial Root Release Session at the time of booking.
3. Session Format & Scheduling
Virtual sessions are conducted through secure HIPAA-compliant Google Meet sessions. Clients are responsible for ensuring a private environment, stable internet connection, and arriving on time for scheduled appointments. Headphones are recommended. In-person sessions are held at 415 Dunlawton Ave, Suite 107, Port Orange, FL 32127. Please arrive at least 5 minutes prior to your session.
4. Booking, Payment & Cancellation Policy
Sessions, packages, and additional services may be purchased through the website. Payment and scheduling are completed at the time of booking.
- A minimum of 48 hours’ notice is required for cancellations or rescheduling.
- Cancellations made within 48 hours are subject to a $50 cancellation fee.
- No-shows or missed sessions may result in forfeiture of the full session fee or prepaid session.
- Late arrivals may shorten the session time to avoid impacting other appointments.
- Multi-session packages must be used within 6 months unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Exceptions may be considered for emergencies on a case-by-case basis.
By booking, you authorize Mikki Hypnotherapy to charge the payment method provided in accordance with these policies.
5. Early Termination of Services
Mikki Hypnotherapy reserves the right to discontinue services or decline future sessions if:
- Professional boundaries are violated
- Inappropriate or disruptive behavior occurs
- Continued services are determined not to be in the Client’s best interest
- Ethical or conflict-of-interest concerns arise
Unused prepaid sessions may be refunded at the discretion of Mikki Hypnotherapy.
6. Confidentiality & Privacy
Client information is kept confidential except when disclosure is required by law or necessary to prevent harm to yourself or others.
Session notes and recordings are stored within a HIPAA-compliant and encrypted system. Audio recordings are provided for personal use only and may not be shared or redistributed without permission.
7. Professional Disclosure
Hypnotherapy is designed to support personal growth, emotional wellbeing, and behavioral change. Results vary by individual and depend on active participation and commitment to the process.
8. Health Disclaimer & Medical Referral
Hypnosis is a complementary modality and not a substitute for licensed medical, psychological, or psychiatric care.
Per Florida law, clients seeking support for diagnosed medical, dental, or mental health conditions may require written referral or approval from an appropriately licensed healthcare provider.
Clients with epilepsy, seizures, psychosis, personality disorders, or those serving as legal witnesses should consult a licensed provider before participating in hypnosis.
9. Substance Use Policy
For safety and effectiveness, hypnosis services are not provided to individuals actively using fentanyl, heroin, methamphetamines, cocaine, or experiencing alcohol dependency. Clients should be substance-free for a minimum of 30 days prior to beginning sessions.
10. Client Responsibility
Clients remain responsible for their own decisions, actions, and outcomes. No guarantees of specific results are provided, and Mikki Hypnotherapy is not liable for personal, emotional, or financial outcomes related to services.
11. Record Retention
Session recordings remain accessible in the client portal for up to 6 months after the final session. Clients are encouraged to download recordings for personal use.
12. Termination by Client
Clients may discontinue services at any time with written notice. Completed sessions and services are non-refundable.
13. Limited Liability
Services are provided in good faith without guarantees or warranties of specific outcomes. Mikki Hypnotherapy is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages related to participation in services.
14. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Florida.
Client Acknowledgment
By booking or attending sessions, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
